The Last Guardian Coming To Android and iOS By 2018

According to the Wall Street Journal, Sony will be releasing five games of Playstation on Android and iOS in 2018. Sony will release these games under the hood of ForwardWorks, which is its subsidiary.

Downside apparently is that there are no plans to launch the games in Europe and US. Sony is planning to launch the games in Japan first and then transition them to the Asian Markets. "Hot Shots Golf" and "I.Q: Intelligent Qube." are also on the list.

This move could start a new era in mobile gaming. Sony would bring a wealth of experience in the console gaming industry to the mobile sector and their titles could potentially increase the value of Android TV, Apple TV and similar gadgets.

The Last Guardian is a PS4 exclusive which hasn't even made it's way to the PC segment, much to the dismay of the PC Master Race. The Last Guardian has faced severe criticism however. It was announced in E3 2009 and it hasn't been released since then. The initial release was 2011 solely for the PS3 but numerous delays and layoffs caused the development to go at snail's pace.

Still however it is amazing for Sony to be porting their games cross platform to the mobile sector. Are you excited to play Sony's exclusives on your hand-held devices?
