*Cries Silently* - No Android 7.0 Nougat For Google Nexus 5 Users

All the hype surrounding the upcoming Android Nougat is going to take downward dive since a credible leaker states that it will not be arriving on Google Nexus 5. A device with Snapdragon 800 will not be receiving it, this is extremely regrettable.

However those with higher end phones and Nexus variants would be pleased to know that Android 7.0 Nougat will be available to download next month according Evan Blass. Currently the final phase of the beta is rolling out and it is believed that the Note 7 could also be making its debut with this new OS even before the Nexus counterparts.

This is the tweet from Evan:

Many new features are expected in the upcoming OS such as Sustained Performance Mode which will allocate certain resources for a specific task as well as informing the system the time period the task will be performed too.

Better multi language support as well as the exclusion of Dark Theme plus seamless updating to avoid any hampering or slow down of other apps. It would have been icing on the cake if they had included the OS for Nexus 5 users. One cannot practically deny that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 is still a very powerful processor.

What are your thoughts regarding this news? Are you, like me a Nexus 5 user and crying silently in the corner?
